To expand and upgrade the Special Needs Dental Clinic at UWI, St. Augustine, to improve access to specialized dental care for underserved patients. This is an ongoing project which requires annual working capital funding for the upkeep of modern equipment and delivery of subsidized treatment to patients with complex healthcare needs.

The Special Needs Dental Clinic delivers significant value and impact by addressing a critical gap in access to oral healthcare for individuals with complex needs across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. As the only university-based facility in the region dedicated exclusively to this population, it provides essential, often subsidised care to patients who would otherwise face substantial barriers to treatment.
